ZIP RENTALS: TERMS OF SERVICE
GOAL:
Zip Rental's goal is to make real estate listings accessible to the general public in the Albuquerque area by providing quick information in a user friendly format. Zip Rental is a functional internet tool which promotes positive, mass reference with nominal costs to the advertiser.
GROUND RULES:
The residential real estate advertised in Zip Rentals is subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act and the State of New Mexico's Human Rights Act. The Fair Housing Act makes it illegal to advertise "any preference, limitation, discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or intention to make any such preference, limitation, or discrimination". Additionally, to the protections above, the State of New Mexico's Human Rights Act prohibits discrimination based on physical or mental handicap. We will not knowingly accept any advertising for residential real estate that appears to violate or violates federal and/or the state law.
We reserve the right to remove any ads which violate the rules listed below without notice to the writer. Because of the high volume of ads, we cannot assume liability for content which is not removed. However, we will attempt to respond as quickly as possible to users of our service. Rules You must be 18 or older to post an ad.
Your ad must be clearly aimed at promoting property or roommate searches in the Albuquerque area.
ViolationsAds which contain strong, vulgar, or sexually explicit language.
Ads which discuss illegal activity or use hate speech.
Ads which harass others, whether by name or by inference.
Ads which are fraudulent.
All ads which may be subject to local, legal prosecution.
